Todd Sayles, CEO & Chief Creative Director

Todd has been in the marketing and design arena since 1999. He started off the CB Richard Ellis serving as a Marketing manager for the brokerage department. In this role, Todd provided companies with strategic design services to create marketing campaigns, brochures, e- flyers, mailers, web sites, books, and sales presentations to lease and sell properties. During this time he also:
• Managed the rollout of all of the CBRE office web sites in the Tri-State Area
• Coordinated dates, training and branding
• Interfaced with web managers in Los Angeles
• Managed approximately 10 web publishers
• Managed quarterly and monthly site analysis
At present Todd uses his skills in the roles of CEO and Senior Art Director at Creative Mind Consulting Group, the agency he founded in 2004. This new position affords him the opportunity to guide clients through to effective marketing practices and quality design. He also serves as a mentor to his staff to assure that their individual styles and clients' needs are reflected in their work.

Cheryl McCants, Marketing Strategist and Writer
Cheryl provides marketing strategy and planning expertise to CMCG's clients. Cheryl McCants is a bi-lingual, award-winning, communications and marketing professional with more that 20 years of frontline communications, integrated strategic development, crisis communications and marketing experience. Throughout her career as both strategist and spokesperson, she has successfully worked in the real estate development, retail footwear, telecommunications manufacturing, construction, nonprofit and media industries.
Ms. McCants is currently a principal at her boutique communications consulting firm, Impact Consulting Enterprises, LLC. Over the years, she served as a key architect in the rebuilding of the Converse brand's marketing and communications department; she developed a strategic communications plan for Ashley Stewart, a national women's specialty retail chain, to open more than 200 doors over a five-year period; and she also worked with the Ms. Foundation for Women, where she developed a comprehensive media relations plan for Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work®, a national educational initiative.
Ms. McCants' most recent non-profit assignment was as Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications for the National Urban League. In this role she served as the strategist and key architect in the re-positioning of this 98-year old civil rights organization. Ms. McCants spearheaded the development of integrated media relations activities, internal/external communications, interactive marketing tools, as well as wrote, edited, designed and published weekly columns, annual reports and newsletters. |
Joe Gugliuzza, Associate Creative Director
Joe is an award winning graphic designer who specializes in brand development and strategic marketing. He has over 17 years "in the biz." His background includes both professional and consumer communications. Joe has developed campaigns for organizations in the financial data industry and recognizes that producing revenue-generating communications requires a deep understanding of the product, the market and the strategy.
Joe is involved in all aspects of the creative process. He views every project through a marketing lens and works hard to get inside the head of the target audience from the outset. Joe always strives to identify and then clearly present the elements that differentiate the product from the competition.
When Joe brainstorms, it's more like a brain-hurricane. His energy, determination and extensive knowledge of both traditional and new media are invaluable assets to our clients in strategic planning of campaigns.
The most common question about Joe is, "how do you pronounce his last name?" The answer is "gull-you-tsa." |
Shelley Kays, Junior Designer
Shelley Kays came to CMCG as a graphic design intern from the graphic design program at County College of Morris. This degree is an adjunct to her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Shelley has experience in newspaper display advertising layout, logo development, and brochure layout. To round out her background Shelley holds a second Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the College of William and Mary and an MBA in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Prior to returning to the art field she worked for a mortgage banking firm, holding a variety of positions in sales, servicing, secondary marketing, quality control and computer programming. In all areas she worked closely with secondary market investors and FNMA and Freddie Mac. At the mortgage company Shelley created a document preparation program in dBase II, a database program. She worked most recently for a major luxury home builder as sales support, where she developed a sales solicitation program based in Microsoft Access. |
Nai Saelee, Senior Web Designer
Nai possesses a serious passion for constructing web applications, and has helped develop hundred of sites behind the scenes. She's worked in partnership with small and large scale businesses to create dynamic, database driven, and scalable custom web applications. Some examples of her work include:
Association for Challenge Course Tech: Private intranet, custom system designed and built to specs to manage project and document tracking.
UC Santa Barbara COGI: Dynamic site, built on WordPress for ease of managing rapidly changing conference info and data. |
Chris Antaki, Flash and WordPress Developer
Chris Antaki is a young, cutting edge web developer. His leading strengths are Flash and WordPress development, which has allowed him to provide numerous companies an improved web presence. Chris has over four years of Flash and WordPress development experience.
He has given small businesses a web advantage, as well as provided ongoing Flash help for larger entities such as Creative Mind Consulting Group and Citizen Global. With a dedication to quality, he enjoys seeing a client become excited about their end result. |
